Rhythm & Roots
Rhythm & Roots is a small-group music class designed for children ages 3–4, where bluegrass becomes a foundation for learning, not just entertainment.
Through singing, rhythm play, and movement, children build early musical skills alongside language development, coordination, and social awareness. Activities are intentional and hands-on—children keep a steady beat, explore call-and-response, and begin to hear and play with the sounds within words.
The class moves at a thoughtful pace, allowing children to participate in ways that feel natural to them while still working toward shared group experiences.

Mother’s Day Rhythm & Roots
Join us for a special outdoor class celebrating Mother’s Day through music and connection.
This Rhythm & Roots session is a gentle, shared experience for caregivers and young children, featuring simple bluegrass tunes, singing, and movement that support early development.
Held at Memorial Park, the class offers space to slow down, be present, and enjoy music together.
Baby Bluegrass
Baby Bluegrass is a gentle, movement-based class for children ages 12–24 months and their caregivers.
Each class follows a simple, predictable rhythm: we begin with a welcome song, move into lap songs and fingerplays, then open the space for instrument exploration and free movement with shakers, scarves, and rhythm sticks. Live bluegrass music plays throughout, inviting children to bounce, sway, crawl, or dance in their own way. We close with a short goodbye song to help with transition.
The focus is on rhythm, connection, and sensory exploration, meeting each child exactly where they are.
